Kachina (katsina) dolls represent the spirit beings of Pueblo ceremony, and authentic, hand-carved examples are collectible Native American art. Ours come from Hopi and Navajo artists — no factory reproductions. Hopi carvers including Milton Howard, A. Poleahla, and Dennis Ross work in cottonwood root, the traditional material, and every doll is one of a kind.
The collection also holds extraordinary sterling silver and stone-inlay kachinas by Henry Yazzie and DRF Jr. — sculptural pieces that bridge silverwork and carving. Silver Star Jewelry is family owned in Old Town Scottsdale, in business since 1979. Visit the showroom to see each kachina in person, or shop the collection online.
