Where a stone comes from changes how it looks. Arizona mines like Kingman and Sleeping Beauty are known for clean, saturated blues. Nevada material such as Royston tends toward green with gold-brown webbing. Sonoran turquoise from Mexico often shows a bright blue-green. Learning to read those differences is most of what buying turquoise well comes down to.
